Volt is immediately hiring for a Repair Technician in Jeffersonville, IN

As a Repair Technician, you will:

Hooking up laptops, PC's and tablets to test program and run test program
Be able to meet or exceed production quota daily
Be able to troubleshoot notebook failures
Maintain all test equipment needed for product repair
Maintain a clean and safe working area
Provide detailed training needs to area lead
Be conscientious to repair area operations for process improvements
Practice and follow safe lifting and ESD precautions
Keep accurate daily records of work performance and area needs
Always be professional in conduct and appearance
Be dedicated to providing world-class customer service

The ideal candidate will have:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
A Plus Certification or associate degree in Electronics is preferred but not required.
Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures
Experience in computer operations, troubleshooting and configurations are preferred.
Experienced and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Possess written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Office experience

This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Shift: Monday - Friday - 10:30 AM to 7 PM

Pay Rate: $16.50 to $17.50 Hourly.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
