Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Product Owner/Product Manager!
This is a hybrid position. It is expected that you are able to work on-site 3 days/week. Relocation is not allowed for this role. Therefore, we will only conisder candidates that live in or can commute to the following areas:

- Westlake, TX

Our client is seeking a Product Owner to be responsible for developing and implementing new features, processes, and data integrations to support our digital advice platforms. The Product Owner will coordinate efforts with team members and cross-functional business partners including Agile Scrum teams. The Product Owner will oversee implementation of a product roadmap that will enhance our client’s offerings. Members of the team who are highly successful demonstrate the ability to manage the product lifecycle, think creatively, develop recommendations that are data driven/fact-based, deliver results in a matrixed organization and have the flexibility and maturity to handle various situations. This role is for individuals with a bias for action and who are detail oriented.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our users and leverage data in the design of new processes and interactions to enhance the overall user experience
- Analyze existing and future internal tools (proprietary and third party) and collaborate on strategies for creating a holistic and efficient representative desktop for wealth management
- Collaborate with other Product Owners in Digital Wealth Platforms and technology leads and architects
- Lead product discovery activities and work with internal and third parties to design integration solutions
- Build a product roadmap to articulate and drive the priorities
- Create a release plan in coordination with the scrum team and other lines of business
- Manage development efforts and technology scrum teams: writing user stories, refining the backlog, and working with User Experience designers
- Define test plans and acceptance criteria and oversee end to end testing
- Provide timely and proactive production support to users
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Experience in Agile development practices leading multiple teams as Product Owner
- Strong digital product management skills including experience with design thinking and client journeys
- Self-starter with strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and excellent communication and interperrsonal skills
- Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities
- High level of comfort with technology
- 3-5 years of product management / product development within financial services preferred
- Experience with investment management is a plus
- Knowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems is a plus
- Bachelor and post graduate degrees are a plus
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $59.69 to $66.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
