Hourly Rate: $22.25 an hour + $1.50 shift differential

Job Description Summary

Conagra Brands in Darien, WI a local supplier of Birds Eye products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill entry level openings in the production department as a Process Operator for 12 Hour Rotating nights. Reporting to Production Supervisors, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 815 employees.

Duties:

You will set up and operate all production equipment related to the sauce operation including but is not limited to all kettles, contherms, sanitation equipment, depositor and freezer. Assemble and prepare ingredients and materials for the sauce making operation.
Set up and operate equipment for sauce production as required.
You will weigh out ingredients to prepare for batching operation.
You will combine ingredients in liquefier and batch tanks. Complete accurate accounting and recording of sauce production.
You will return materials and finished product to storage areas utilizing inventory system.
You will complete line and equipment sanitation and sanitizing procedures as required.
You will utilize good manufacturing practices as required by the company.
You will work in a safe manner using proper safety equipment.

Qualifications:

You will be able to operate a forklift safely and be knowledgeable of battery room equipment and procedures.

You will have working knowledge of sanitation requirements and procedures. You will be physically capable of performing all duties, including but not limited to, lifting heavy weights on a regular basis, standing for long periods of time, bending and reaching.

You will be able to work cooperatively with a production team under limited supervision.

You will be aware of all plant safety rules/procedures and be willing to follow them.

$22.25 per hour
