As a Process Operator you will make dressing/syrup/sauce batches to meet production requirements, quality standards and regulatory requirements in the Production Department at our St. Elmo, Illinois production facility reporting to the Team Leader.
A Day in the Life of a Process Operator:
- You will need to train and understand the job responsibilities to perform them.You must be familiar and able to monitor and operate the equipment required for the position assigned and complete any required checks, testing and documentation.
You Will:
- Record all adjustments made to all batches.
- Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
- Perform all LOTO procedures.
- Responsible for all changeover tasks.
- Maintain processing equipment and practice company good manufacturing procedures guidelines.
- Understand use of QA testing equipment and perform lab tests.
- Perform quality checks of the process, pasteurization, making gum batch, making batch, CIP circuit cleaning, waste circuits, able to transfer batch to.
- Know and perform all sanitation requirements of processing CIP circuit cleaning.
- Work with QA.
- Understand production schedule for line.
- You shall follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures.

You Have:
- Lifting requirements may include lifting of up to 50 pounds. For some positions, operation of a forklift and able to maintain a forklift operator's license is required.
- Frequently go up and down stairs.
- *High School diploma or equivalent required.
- You will read, write, keep accurate and legible paperwork, and enter data into computer relative to the job requirements.
- You will work in a team environment.
- 1+ years of experience in trouble shooting and mechanical aptitude is desired.
- Must understand position is important to the success of achieving production demands and the success of the company.
