Overview

A Clinical Program Supervisor for problem solving courts and AIIM (Alternatives to Incarceration for Individuals with Mental Health Needs) is needed to help us in our endeavor to build the healthiest community in the nation … one person at a time


 This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the collaborative leadership team for the AIIM, Wellness Court, and Adult Drug Court Programs in Fort Collins and Loveland. You will provide individual and group treatment for clients of the programs. You will provide supervision for the SummitStone staff who work on an interdisciplinary team with our community partners. You will work alongside leaders from other agencies to provide interdisciplinary treatment to clients on probation. This position offers a consistent schedule in a variety of settings, Monday through Friday. During the week you will be in a dynamic office, the Larimer Courthouse, and in the community meeting clients as needed.

  • Location: Larimer County, CO
  • Status: Full-time, 40/hrs. week
  • Shift: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

What You’ll Do:


Responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision to designated AIIM programming to meet the behavioral health needs of our clients or consumers. Ensures that clinical programming is adhering to licensing guidelines, applicable rules and regulations, and that treatment rendered is ethical and applicable to the needs of the population. Have knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse communities.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a resource person to program staff, including case manager, clinicians, medical assistants, providers, and team leads.
  • Assists the leadership team, including Directors and Managers, to ensure that clinical service lines are operating effectively, identifies opportunities for administrative efficiencies, and works to streamline clinical workflows to maximize capacity.
  • Acts as a bridge between programs and partner agencies, promoting and supporting the culture of SummitStone.
  • Recruits and builds an effective team and develop and fosters team values with staff.
  • Manages the daily operations of the program ensuring a healthy and safe work environment and availability of robust treatment programming. Provides supervision to a combination of team leads, and/or assigned behavioral health treatment staff. 
  • Contributes to the implementation of new clinical programming.
  • Assists with accurate records and reporting for all grants/contracts assigned.
  • Gathers data and prepares a variety of reports to assist with evaluating services, determining capacity, or measuring program outcomes.
  • Will perform direct client care for clients needing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
  • Evaluates staff performance for direct reports; addresses performance issues, resolves conduct and ethical issues; carries out disciplinary action when needed. Provides technical assistance, training and coaching in clinical and administrative areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and specific to program function.  

Required:

  • Masters (MA) Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field from accredited College or University required.
  • 3-5 years minimum relevant experience in the Mental Health Field, Substance Use Disorder Field or program of application in a leadership role required. 
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in a supervisory role (administrative or clinical) experience with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders required.
  • Colorado Clinical Mental Health License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) required.

Preferred:

  • LCSW and previous problem solving court experience preferred.
  • Experience in program supervision preferred.
  • CAC III or LAC preferred.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual/Bi-cultural preferred.

 The typical hiring range for this position is $76,565 - $91,874 annually, based on relevant years of experience.
