Our client is a national leader in retail seeking 3 Junior Print Graphic and Production Designers to join the in-store experience design team. These are hybrid roles that will be onsite 3 days/week, Tuesday-Thursday, at the Bentonville, AR office. Our client is targeting a start in early/mid-December and the assignment will go through 1/31/24 (due to fiscal year budget planning), however they intend to extend the assignments for another 3-6 months.
The Junior Print Graphic and Production Designers will:
- Concept, create and execute print designs as briefed for a variety of in-store assets (seasonal displays, signs, navigational pieces, informational tags, large overhead materials, ads, etc.)
- Take strategy from marketing team and execute designs that align with style guide
- Apply style guide to build out multiple versions of assets, sometimes up to 100 different versions
- Collaborate with creative leads on conceptual development and design ideation
- Prepare creative decks and occasionally present to leads
The Junior Print Graphic and Production Designers must have:
- 2+ years of print design and production experience
- Experience with basic die line structures, logo design, typography, color studies, photo retouching, preparing files for print, etc.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS, especially InDesign and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of design and print production process
- College degree in Graphic Design (preferred)
The ideal candidate will have experience designing in-store assets for the retail industry and the ability to work with a high volume of work load.
