VETERINARY ASSISTANT

A part-time veterinary assistant position is available at Oak Hills Animal Hospital, 5778 Glenway Ave. Cincinnati, OH  45238.   We are seeking a mature person with a love for animals to fill this position. Experience is a plus but not required.  We will train the right person.  The working environment is friendly and supportive.  The current staff members have been here for 6 to19 years.   This position is opening because a team member is retiring after 12 years of service with us. The pay scale is above average for veterinary assistants in Ohio.

Duties include escorting clients and patients to exam rooms and taking a brief medical history,

assisting the doctor with patient examinations and treatments, assisting with prepping patients for surgery, setting up the surgery room, filling prescriptions, sending out lab work, receptionist duties such as booking appointments and checking out clients.
