We are seeking a skilled Painter - Level 3 to join our team and help produce high-quality products and services for our customers. In this role, you will be accountable for painting and inspecting products to ensure the highest quality is provided. Additionally, you will be accountable for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, setting up and monitoring production, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned equipment to complete painting tasks.
- Prepare, paint, and apply finish coatings to aircraft components and/or assemblies.
- Engage and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and productivity.
- Facilitate the implementation of the Honeywell Operating System.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Record and report production data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze data and production reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Set up and change over equipment as needed to meet production requirements.
Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-attuned positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-attuned positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 4+ years of experience in either Aerospace, Automotive, or Marine industry.
- Experience with paint masking of IDs, ODs, surfaces, etc.
- 3 years of experience working with engineering to improve the manufacturing process.
- Ability to lift/transport up to 35 pounds.
