Position Overview
Our client is seeking a talented Junior to Senior Graphic Designers specializing in Packaging to join their creative team.
This role will be 5 days a week onsite in Manhattan until January, where it will then transition into being a 5 day a week onsite role in Woodbridge NJ.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for designing innovative packaging solutions that align with client's brand identity, ensuring high-quality production files and mechanicals. This role offers opportunities for growth and creative expression while working on exciting projects in the packaging industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative packaging designs that reflect the brand identity and product values.
- Develop and prepare production files and mechanicals for printing and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to ensure design alignment with brand strategy.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to inform design decisions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience in packaging design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Knowledge of production files and mechanical specifications for printing.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and how it applies to packaging.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
