Volt is immediately hiring for Operations Coordinator in Newport News, VA

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be:

Delivering service and inventory goals for a portfolio of vendors and/or warehouses by ensuring correct inventory, in the right place, at the right time to service our customers.
Responsible for ensuring that a business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule.
Communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments.
Assisting Buyer with placement, adjustments, and cancellations of purchase orders.
Cancelling or expediting orders as necessary to deliver service targets.
Utilizing the planning software to build optimal container and/or truckload orders to suppliers.
Analysing, reporting, and acting on replenishment planning KPIs on a regular cadence.

This is a Full-time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

1-2 years of administrative experience - required.
1-2 years Computer experience-Outlook, Teams, Excel - required.
Advanced skills in Excel such as pivots, lookups - preferred.
Experience working in supply chain planning software a plus.

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
