NVP Engineer (Nuance)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $65-70/hr - W2 ONLY
Contract Length: 24+ Months
Our clients Call Center IVR Application team is seeking a skilled NVP Engineer (Nuance) with a focus on Nuance and Genesys migration experience. While Nuance expertise is the top priority, familiarity with Genesys migration is essential as part of our long-term strategy.
As part of the team, you will play a hands-on role in migrating customer IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system to the cloud, impacting the day-to-day experiences of both our team members and customers. This position involves the development and support of IVR applications, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the Nuance NVP platform and Nuance Development Framework (NDF). You will also oversee the monitoring, patching, and maintenance of IVR servers, web services, microservices, and related vendor applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain IVR applications using Nuance NVP and NDF.
* Support system health, code quality, and system integration for the IVR platform.
* Manage telephony/telecom systems and CTI integration with Avaya, Cisco, and Genesys.
* Collaborate on problem identification and resolution across IVR systems and applications.
* Provide DevOps support, including container management with Kubernetes and AWS, using Nirmata for container orchestration.
* Work with outbound omni-channel communication applications like Swampfox and Message Broadcast.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role managing IVR or related products.
* Extensive experience in designing and developing VXML (Voice XML) applications for Nuance NVP.
* Strong understanding of telephony systems, CTI integration, and cloud migration strategies.
* Proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS containers, and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus).
* Hands-on experience with Linux, Unix shell scripting, Java (Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate), and SQL (Oracle, HANA, AWS Aurora).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with Dynatrace, Splunk, SAP HANA, Jira, and JavaScript.
* Experience migrating IVR systems to Genesys Cloud and using Genesys IVR Designer.
* Expertise in Voice Biometrics, including PinDrop integration.
* Proven problem-solving abilities and experience delivering high-quality solutions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams.
