Our client, a retailer in Nashville, TN is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support their team part-time for the next 6 months in a freelance capacity!
The Marketing Coordinator is a temporary opportunity with an estimated 16-20 hours/week and a hybrid schedule. This role is required to come into the office every Wednesday and be flexible for occasional in-person meetings. The ideal candidate will have a marketing background and retail experience.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with the in-house Marketing team and report to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage the marketing inbox, process invoices, assist with budget-related tasks
- Monthly POP Kit: Create and test coupons, gather assets, and prepare/ship out merchant briefs
- Coordination of Grand Openings and Special Initiatives: Communicate with vendors, coordinate giveaways, and prepare marketing materials
- Team Meetings and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other departments
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Agency or retail industry experience preferred
- Previous experience using Microsoft 365 suite is required
- Previous experience using Workfront or similar project management platform
- Familiarity of Jira Cloud, RS Barcodes, and SAP is a plus
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processes efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective collaboration and coordination
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
