Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Logistics Engineer for our client based out of Dublin, VA.This assignment is anticipated to be a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and coordinating the tact time, process, and product changes
- Executing and implementing decided improvements and working with continuous improvement
- Engineering tasks like frequency studies, standard operation procedure
- Performing changes in flows and internal/external logistics setup
- Perform rebuilding of a logistics setup
- Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
- Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
