Job Description:

Position: Quality Technician
Location: Eminence, KY
Type: Contract to Hire (6 month to permanent)
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour to $25.00/hour

Main Responsibilities:

Performs gauge verifications.
Audit processes and products.
Complete necessary documentation on test result reviews and certifications.
Performs testing on basic dimensional, bending, CMM, conductivity, full GD&T, hardness, hydrogen testing, oil-bugs, oil-tramps, sampling plans, tensile, and titrations.
Process sorting/inspecting, lab PM, 6S, and TPM.
Ensures quality on OPLs, training, non-conforming material review, 5W2H, and executing corrective actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds rarely.
Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel toe boots, metatarsal boots, hearing protection, and gloves.
Competence in completing detailed part inspections regularly.
Proficiency in using and reading inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins.
