Description
Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Information Management department located at our Ridgefield, CT facility. As an Intern, you will receive hands on experience with Generative AI tools, identifying and formulating key business questions that can be addressed using Generative AI, monitoring accuracy and effectiveness of reporting dashboards and Key Performance Indicators for marketing and sales, and assisting the department in data analysis and analytics initiatives.

- This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the principles, methodologies, and applications of Generative AI and Digital data in the healthcare industry
- Identifying and formulate key business questions that can be addressed using Generative AI and Digital data
- Analyze and review relevant documents for standard procedures
- Assist department in monitoring availability and accuracy of reporting dashboards and key KPIs for marketing and sales
- Recommend and document new methods for leveraging latest Internet graphical user interface design and best practices to improve overall usability of analytics and reporting visualizations to move towards embedded analytics visualizations
- Assist department in defining automated/robotic use case scenarios and verify results
Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
- Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
- Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
- Major or minor in related field of internship
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
- Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge and familiarity with new analytics visualization reporting tools
- Data analysis skills
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
