Responsibilities
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the support of HRIS related systems. This open role includes support for all areas of the HRIS system and Senior HRIS Analysts as needed. Assisting with the operations of the UKGPro Payroll/HCM, and Dimensions systems including system administration, analysis, reporting, and escalations.
- Support basic end-user questions, employee data transactions, mass imports, break/fix, configuration requests, and escalations to the HRIS team through ServiceNow
- Serve as a main point of contact and subject matter expert for general HRIS inquiries and case response for payroll team in Teammate Service Center
- Respond to ServiceNow inquires for all HRIS related matters within established service level agreements (SLA).
- Act as a project lead (inception to go-live) when implementing basic enhancement, change, or new functionality requests and lead all aspects of project planning/design, configuration, system testing, production readiness, production go-live, ongoing production support, documentation, and stabilization
- Provide support to the Senior HRIS Analysts for recurring and annual HR initiatives such as talent acquisition, talent management, learning, compensation, and other areas of the organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, leaders, and other areas in the organization to break down barriers and achieve team goals
- Ensure process improvement by analyzing data flows and understanding downstream impact of changes
- Works collaboratively with all teammates to act as a technology advisor, integrate perspectives, and acknowledge other's contributions
- Maintain routine for all SCA Health teammates.
- Proactively research new functionality and enhancements to identify ones relevant and beneficial
- Responsible for solving simple to complex problems
- Maintain basic system configuration and security
- Gather business requirements related to the system, document issues, and collaborate on timely solutions for basic requests
- Create and execute testing scripts with scenarios
- Document processes, results, HRIS/HR area administrative documentation, and end user documentation for basic requests
- Gather data using UKGPro Business Intelligence/People Analytics, and Dimensions reporting tools including identifying exception reporting opportunities and developing BI reports?
- Research basic end user issues, provide troubleshooting, escalate, and develop strategies for resolution
- Coordinate basic training, job aids, and communications
- Develop processes in collaboration with the HRIS Associate Director and Payroll Lead to improve Quality Assurance? and automation
- Support and provide quality assurance in the UKGPro HCM/Payroll system for accurate payroll processing, ad hoc reconciliation efforts, and annual processes including 401K Census/NDT/Per Diem match
- Develop a quality assurance auditing process on an ongoing and annual cadence
- Support alignment of systems/data at integration points (Fidelity, Dimensions,UKGPro, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Level of Formal Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, BA or BS preferred Years of Experience: 2-3 years functional payroll or HRIS experience. Higher education can substitute experience.
- Area of Study: HR, Finance, Tax, or Payroll
- 1+ years of HCM system experience (ie. Dimensions, UKGPro) preferred
- Self- motivated and seeks to understand
- Confidence with questioning
