Monday-Friday with limited on-call responsibilities

As the Director of Health Service you will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of resident care and services at Hearthstone of Beaverton. You will lead and supervise our RCC and Med Tech's; maintain an effective medication administration system; oversee safe administration of medication/treatments by non-licensed personnel; hiring, teaching, coaching and competency testing of direct care and clinical staff. Ensure compliance with State regulations and Hearthstone policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assessment of new residents prior to move-in

Routine Resident assessments to ensure resident nursing needs are met

Familiar with short-term and significant change of condition

Conduct care conferences

Organize and maintain the systems of medication supply, administration, and storage

RN delegation

Provide training, supervision, monitoring of staff as they provide care, medication management, and other health related services

Audit medication room

Assist with direct care of residents, as needed

Rotating on-call

Foster a resident-centered approach to the planning and delivery of services to residents, supporting residents' rights to participate in decision-making and treating residents with love, respect, and integrity

Provide Registered Nurse oversight to the community

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to resident care

Other duties as assigned
