Job Summary
Serve as a grader for undergraduate/graduate level computer science/computer information systems course(s). Follow the directions of the instructor for grading and recording assessments within the time frame specified.
Responsibilities*
- Objective grading and the recording of student assessments as directed by the course instructor, following the instructor's prescribed methods and required response time
- Give feedback to students
NOTE: This position will not involve instruction, subjective grading, mentoring, or tutoring.
Required Qualifications*
- Must be a current UM-Flint Grad Student
- Must have successfully completed CSC 575 Algorithm and Complexity Analysis, or equivalent
- Must be well organized and reliable
Desired Qualifications*
- Ability to be responsive to the needs of the instructor in terms of reliability, communication, accuracy, and timeliness
- Good communication skills
- Independent worker
Modes of Work
Mobile/Remote
The work requirements allow for the majority or all of the work to be completed offsite. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements, but is not generally scheduled on a recurring basis
