What You'll Do
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a strategic priority for BCG, serving as both a major revenue driver and a foundation of our competitive edge. As AI evolves rapidly, theGlobal Learning & Development (L&D) AI Directorwill play a pivotal role in embedding AI knowledge and skills across the organization. This role is critical for enabling BCG to deliver AI-powered solutions to clients while driving internal efficiency through innovative AI tools and workflows.
TheGlobal L&D AI Directorwill lead two primary initiatives:
- AI Go-to-Market (Commercial Upskilling):Develop and deliver programs to enhance AI-related capabilities for client delivery, ensuring BCG continues to excel in providing impactful AI-enabled solutions.
- Amplify Impact (Generative AI Upskilling):Equip BCG employees with AI skills that enhance daily workflows, such as leveraging tools like ChatGPT for automation, data-driven decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership in AI Upskilling:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to design the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI upskilling that addresses both current and emerging business needs.
- Translate AI@Scale and Amplify Impact leadership priorities into actionable global learning strategies to ensure widespread AI proficiency at scale.
Design and Execution of Learning Initiatives:
- Oversee the development and implementation of learning programs to embed AI capabilities across BCG roles, maintaining the firm's competitive advantage and ability to deliver innovative client solutions.
- Continuously update and refine existing curriculum content, collaborating with AI experts and internal stakeholders to ensure relevance and high impact.
- Manage the operational aspects of the AI-specific L&D team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Partner with BCG thought leaders to transform proprietary knowledge into best-in-class learning experiences for employees.
- Effectively manage relationships with senior stakeholders, aligning learning initiatives with firm priorities and ensuring broad organizational impact.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee project management for AI L&D initiatives, staying connected to project progress and continuously aligning efforts with evolving business and learner needs.
- Optimize resources, anticipate risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Developing and executing strategic learning programs aligned with evolving organizational priorities
- Partnering with and influencing senior BCG stakeholders to co-develop and execute a compelling vision for AI learning globally
- Building relationships, teaming effectively, and partnering across multiple functions and with all levels of employees, including the most senior BCG experts
- Translating high-level strategic goals into actionable, impactful learning solutions that align with both commercial objectives and internal upskilling needs
- Staying up to date with fast-changing AI trends and content, bringing insights into learning initiatives and driving organizational change to stay competitive
- Project management skills, including the ability to multi-task across projects and teams
- Leadership and motivational skills to ensure the BCG project teams are efficient and effective in their content development tasks
- Making change happen, ideally with clear experience leading Change Management or Transformation on BCG cases
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to pick up a wide range of BCG frameworks and concepts rapidly
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced business environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly
- Demonstrating an interest in Learning and Development, ideally proven through case work or internal initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in business administration, education, psychology or environmental sciences
- Minimum 7 years' of professional working experience, ideally with consulting background
- Experience in learning experience design across modalities is a plus
- Solid project management experience, ideally in consulting environment including agile project management and a passion for innovative projects and knowledge of Slack, MS Teams, Trello, Jira, Smartsheet would be a plus
- Excellent English language oral and written communication skills required
- Knowledge of Agile and user centric design principles
- Experience working with remote international teams
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence is a plus
