Match Charter Public Schoolis a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving 1,250 students. Our mission is to prepare students for success in college and careers in order to achieve economic security and mobility. Students gain acceptance to our schools via an annual blind public lottery open to all Boston residents.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are accepting applications for candidates interested in a school position for the 2025-2026 school year at one of Matchs three schools: Match Community Day (Pre-K to 5th) located on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park, Match Middle School (6th-8th) located on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain, and Match High School (9th-12th) located on 1001 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton.

All Match positions are on scales. The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,819-$98,889 and is based on a candidates prior years of teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Each school role has a specific set of duties and responsibilities. All staff share a set of essential responsibilities, including (but not limited to):

  • Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there;
  • Participate actively in Matchs coaching and professional development programming;
  • Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; and
  • Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community

Specific qualifications vary by role.   • have at least two years of full-time school experience, preferably in an urban education setting;

  • demonstrate an ability to work well on a team, and a willingness to support others in doing their best work.
