Job Description:

ECS seeks a Financial Analyst to provide assistance within the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Fort Meade, MD. The position is hybrid, with mostly telework however, monthly onsite classified work will likely be required (1-4x/month) at Fort Meade, MD.

This support includes, but is not limited to:

• Analyze, summarize, and identify trends and issues relating to budget execution.
• Review and prepare funding packages for appropriated funds (O&M, Procurement and RDT&E) using IE Financial Tracking System and DAI. Review Defense Working Capital Funds packages in CORAS.
• Evaluate funding guidance and resource levels for adequacy in supporting program mission and objectives.
• Review and assess impact of changes in both functional and financial regulations, policies, and guidance.
• Consult management on budget strategies and techniques and use of financial management products.

Required Skills:

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
• Minimum 1 year of related budget experience in DoD (related experience in other organizations will be considered).
• MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in financial field.
• Working knowledge of DOD PPBE processes, with emphasis on execution functions and funding packages for Appropriated and Defense Working Capital Funds.
• Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and CORAS experience desired.
