The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking early or mid-career faculty, at the assistant, or associate professor level, with expertise in pediatric hepatology

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking early or mid-career faculty, at the assistant, or associate professor level, with expertise in pediatric hepatology. The candidate will ideally be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology.

The Division of Gastroenterology Hepatology, and Nutrition advances the treatment of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders through coordinated patient care, research, and educational activities. Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and dietitians provide state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and comprehensive therapeutic services for both common and rare diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, and liver. Duke has the largest pediatric liver transplant program in North Carolina and the surrounding region, a robust living donor program, and a growing intestinal/multivisceral transplant program. The division collaborates on patient care with the Divisions of Pediatric Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pediatric Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Psychology, Physical Therapy, and more. Eligible candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology and for those interested in hepatology, Pediatric Transplant Hepatology.
