Duke Children's Hospital is recruiting full-time Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) physicians for a growing pediatric hospitalist service with a leading regional referral center in Durham, NC. Duke Children's is a 190-bed children's hospital within a 1,100-bed academic medical center that offers a full spectrum of pediatric services and specialties. We seek collegial and supportive team members with a growth mindset.
Join us as our PHM division significantly grows our clinical footprint and expands into a 24/7 on-site coverage model. Day and Night hospitalist positions are available. Please state in your cover letter which role you prefer - Hospitalist (Day), Nocturnist (Night), or either.
Opportunities:
- General pediatrics hospitalist services (direct care, teaching and supervision of trainees)
- Inpatient service for children with medical complexity
- Newborn nursery (no delivery responsibilities; established level IV NICU)

Ideal Candidates:
- Exceptional clinical and communication skills, and a passion for patient and family-centered care
- Skilled in collaborative interdisciplinary care, adaptable and flexible
- Committed to the equitable advancement of health for all children and families
- American Board of Pediatrics - General Pediatrics certified/eligible (Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship/board certification not required)
