Duke Cancer Network has a community Hematology-Oncology physician opportunity at Gibson Cancer Center in Lumberton, NC. Practice Monday-Friday in a 34,000 square foot, 24 treatment chair, free-standing cancer center. This role partners with community-based and rotating Duke Health Oncologists, APPs, Radiation Oncology, a Pharmacist and Social Worker, with on-site lab and robust support.
See 12-15 patients a day while you develop a general Hematologist-Oncologist practice with a clinical area of special interest on a well-resourced team. Participate in a call coverage rotation with other Duke Cancer Network physicians. You will join Duke Health colleagues at tumor boards, clinical trials research, and have the opportunity to teach Duke Hematology-Oncology fellows.
