QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum five years (5) of industry experience in IT infrastructure architecture development and technology consulting, advisory, or professional services.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Architect or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Senior or Lead Architect or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 7 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing next-generation firewall networks and security solutions in accordance with industry best practices.
- Highly skilled in consulting with customers at all levels of the organization in both pre-sales and post-sales.
- Extensive knowledge of Firewall Design, Implementation, and Migrations is required.
- Advanced technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, SGT, SSL VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TrustSec, NAT, QoS, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is required.
- Advanced Palo Alto Security certifications are preferred.
- Expertise in core Fortinet solutions, including Fortigate (NGFW and SDWAN), Fortimanager, and Fortianalyzer is preferred.
- Fortinet Certifications, NSE 4-6 and NSE7 SD-WAN certification preferred.
- Experience and expertise in developing architect-level Fortinet and Palo Alto solutions.
- Experience with network automation using Ansible, Terraform, or other orchestration tools is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following platforms is also beneficial: Cisco (ASA/ISE/Firepower/Stealthwatch), Check Point, or F5.
- Other certifications in industry-leading network products such as Cisco (CCIE, CCNP), Arista, Aruba, Juniper, Zscaler, AWS, GCP, Azure are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud network deployments including AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
- Multi-vendor experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills.
- Advanced client-facing skills, including analyzing and providing solutions to complex architecture or services problems, influencing and negotiating with clients.
- Demonstrated technical consulting experience in one or more vertical sectors: government, public sector, higher education, finance, health care, technology, or other commercial.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology focused discipline
