The Role
As a Director of Software Engineering under the Analytics, Insights and Reporting Chapter, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing PSW reporting. You will be technically leading a team of motivated individuals proactively working on enhancing the reporting platform to make it more resilient and transform it to next gen Reporting & Insights Platform
As a technical leader, you blend deep Software Engineering knowledge with a passion for coaching, mentoring and help them grow and develop in their knowledge area and ensure alignment on the 'how' of the work they perform

The Expertise and Skills You Bring (The order of these bullets does not matter)
BS in Computer Science or related technical field
Experienced player coach
14+ years of work experience in large-scale, Data Platforms focused on Data Engineering, Reporting with hands-on Data/Database Engineering Expertise along with Technology Product Management.
Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics and large-scale BI modernization and security implementations
Demonstrated experience in Data Analysis and building data models for BI implementation
Significant experience with ETL/ELT data integration tools such as Informatica, Snaplogic and data movement design patterns from VSAM/DB2, Oracle.
Strong experience working with data virtualization implementations using tools like Tibco, Denodo
Extensive Experience in PL/SQL , Oracle and Snowflake
Strong experience in Reporting Tools like OBIEE, BI Publisher, PowerBI
Strong experience in AWS RDS, S3 and other AWS databases , services for data ingestion and processing using Python, Airflow
Strong working knowledge of cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake
Solid understanding of DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines using GitHUB, Jenkins, Udeploy
Solid understanding of data consumption from SOAP and REST API sources
Strong working knowledge of scripting using Linux, Perl or similar technologies
Critical thinking and the ability to work in an Agile environment
Experience working in Financial Services Industry desired with experience in WI products and data preferred
Strong experience in navigating organization structure
