Director of eCommerce
Position Overview
The Director of eCommerce will lead our client's online retail strategy, overseeing all aspects of their eCommerce operations to drive revenue growth and enhance the online shopping experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in eCommerce and retail, who can effectively manage cross-functional teams and develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of customers.
This is a full time, direct hire role that will require you to be onsite in St. Louis, MO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement overall eCommerce strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Oversee the management of an eCommerce platform, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and conversions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for conversion rate optimization and A/B testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce management or a similar role within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and online merchandising principles.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and data analytics.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) & CRM tools, particularly Klaviyo or Attentive.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
