As a Data Analyst you will:
Provide analytical support by proactively monitoring business developments; provides insights and analytics expertise, primarily through analysis of complex data, to help guide Client on portfolio, franchise, and brand strategy development and execution . Responsible for monitoring market trends, project coordination, and maintaining related tools focused on Client megalurid brands and indications. Develop, refine, and update quantitative tracking models and systems, along with documented supporting assumptions to support strategic objectives. Develop communications materials including slides and reports reflecting clear and concise conclusions and recommendations for key stakeholders. Provide support to strategic insights into understanding of patient treatment dynamics and market performance as well as bring ability to triangulate multiple sources to develop innovative solutions to complex, unstructured problems with limited guidance.
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Semaglutide Analytics Director. Working in collaborating with other members of Semifluid Insight and Analytics Center of Excellence; Internal relationships include close interactions with other cross functional colleagues in Enterprise Insights (EI), IT, Commercial Strategy and Marketing. External relationships include interactions with external data partners and consultants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
IN-DEPTH DATA MINING IN SUPPORT OF CUSTOMER INSIGHTS:
* Analyze market trends and product performance - identify drivers of performance and provide supportive evidence
* Interprets and contextualizes analytical findings within the framework of existing body of knowledge about consumer attitudes/behaviours
* Support insights and analytics team with the development and design of key lines of investigation via custom analysis and assessments utilizing relevant and appropriate data sources and business resources
* Conducts hypothesis-driven investigations into patient-level and transactional-level data, to gain business insights from various patient perspectives independently or with collaboration with other analytics teams.
* Develops innovative solutions to unstructured, complex problems; recommendations have significant impact on company (time, people, budget) resources and may affect ability to achieve company goals.
* Utilize tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, R, etc. to conduct data analysis on various IQVIA and longitudinal datasets
* Supports the refinement of timely, on-going analysis and reporting to concisely communicate relevant business issues
* Works with commercial Insights & Analytics leaders in the development, maintenance, and update of performance monitoring metrics
COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION:
* Develop and sustain close working relationships with key business partners, including commercial, and operations business colleagues (US & Global) as required
* Proactively monitors areas of concern or opportunity for enhancements and provides recommendations/proposals,
* supports relevant analysis as needed
* Development and execution of presentations with clear storylines, grounded on holistic business concepts and
communicate key conclusions and business recommendations/implications (what/so what and now what) to business
partners and peers through formal and informal channels
* Analytical thinker and creative problem solver, ability to influence others with verbal and written communication
* Advocate and champion for our customers, demonstrate inherent interest in people, intense curiosity to decipher and understand human behavior and desire to drive insights into action
LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT:
* Champion the Triple Bottom Line in Secondary Analytics, and internal strategy consulting
* Ensure alignment of initiatives to company's overall vision aligned to the business strategic focus areas and
* departments goals
* Advocate and be a champion of our team, business partners and customers, demonstrate inherent interest in
* people, intense curiosity to decipher and understand data, human behaviour, and desire to drive insights into action
* Works well under pressure, with initiative to take on unfamiliar tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor 's degree required with focus in Business, Analytics, Math, Science, or Engineering preferred
* MBA or advanced degree a plus
* 0-3 years relevant work experience in commercial pharmaceutical analytics function preferred
* Knowledge and understanding of IQVIA datasets such as Xponent, NPA, LAAD, FIA; prior experience with longitudinal patient datasets preferred
* Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills required
* Strong writing, presentation, project management skills required
* Experience/working knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or R strongly preferred
* Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
* Creative problem solving; ability to organize/manipulate data and see big picture from scattered pieces of information
* Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
* Positive and eagerness to learn, collaborate and partner with internal business colleagues

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
