Implement brand engagement strategies in priority markets that leverage the breadth of marketing assets and channels to distinguish the brand, express our purpose, and drive brand consideration.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partner Alignment
Partner with market leaders, LOBM, and key enterprise functions to optimize resources to amplify engagement, accelerate, and deepen community impact
Influence senior leaders from multiple lines of business to build cohesive and effective localized marketing strategies for priority markets.
Partner with line of business marketing to identify opportunities, in priority markets, to amplify the brand through the implementation of distinct, localized brand experiences that leverage all marketing channels and assets.
Partner with key enterprise functions (i.e. Human Resources; PDI; Truist Foundation; Truist Charitable Fund; Teammate Volunteerism; Corporate Communications) to amplify their work as an expression of care in priority market communities.
Liaise with LOB marketing (Consumer & Wholesale) and corresponding business partners (Consumer Market Executives, Regional Presidents) to align the strategy to business objectives.
Market Research and Insights
Leverage market specific research and insights to better understand our brand position in our priority markets to inform our community brand engagement strategy
Maintain a keen sense of the local market, trends, needs and client opinion that will influence brand marketing campaigns and local Truist activities in priority markets.
Measure impact of community marketing activities through earned media, brand awareness, brand consideration, and brand sentiment.
Marketing Channel Optimization
Ensure all Marketing channels (e.g. sponsorships, events, creative) are connected, locally relevant, and strategically aligned
Serve as a liaison between market leadership and local teammates in priority markets, as well as other marketing teams (e.g. content, creative, digital, social) to ensure sponsorships and brand experiences are integrated in the full marketing mix and complement local marketing activity in contextually relevant ways.
Manage multiple sponsorship property relationships with responsibilities, including but not limited to fulfillment of all contractual assets, budget management, ticket optimization execution of market strategy, measurement and reporting on performance, etc.
Brand Experience Distinction
Oversee and execute community focused programming through collaboration with internal and agency partners (e.g. grassroots sponsorships, storytelling, teammate volunteerism, gifts, grants)
Design and lead complex and visible projects with elevated brand experiences and distinction. Mitigate and manage related risk. Make decisions within established objectives.
Community Care
Integrate market leader and community stakeholder input to identify community needs which inform market-specific engagement strategy.
Support local marketing initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the purpose marketing (or related) discipline
Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes managing a process
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure
Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities
Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex business problems
Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective
Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry
Preferred Qualifications:
