Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to secure materials, track materials, prep and mix tomato sauce for the pizza processing operation
• Able to retrieve ingredients and set up the line according to production code and schedule
• Pull samples of ingredients, fill out appropriate paper work to ensure 100 % traceability, and provide to lab
• Input data into the inventory control system
• Have a fork lift certification
• Able to clean and sanitize all equipment on the required schedule, including freezers
• Able to perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance:
  • Trouble shoot fault indicators
  • Code dates
  • Have a Certified Forklift license.
  • Assist technical technicians with repairs and projects
  • Lubrication - oil and grease
  • Belt adjustments
  • Etc.
• Able to fill out paperwork to track production, quality, downtime and other requirements, and enter the data in the appropriate computer program
• Able to ensure proper line speeds and make adjustments as necessary
• Able to perform all quality and weight checks and make appropriate adjustments
• Actively work in a team environment:
  • Live by the team's principles
  • Support and help team members
  • Give and receive feedback, etc.
• Able to accomplish Master Sanitation (MSS) duties as required
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Train new members on the team
• Perform all quality checks
• Able to explain product flow from the Bakery to the Warehouse
• Ensure proper rotation of ingredient usage
• Understand and follow all SOP's and GMP's for producing Quality product
• Able to report deviations and take appropriate corrective measures
• Actively work to continuously improve the production processes
• Help coordinate staffing schedule to ensure proper vacation, absenteeism and overtime needs consistent with Company policies and procedures
• Responsible for ensuring all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with Company safety procedures and expected behaviors
• Provide feedback on team member performance
• Participate in the hiring process for team members
• Able to make production code changeovers to meet schedule requirements

Education and / or Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
