The Case Off position ensures finished product is free of damage and meets quality standards. Ensuring finished product is sealed in cases and hand stacked on pallets from conveyors for shipping promptly following all GMP, Safety, and Quality standards. Keeping work area free from debris and following good housekeeping standards. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs, IA location. You will report to the Production Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
• Move up to 40 lbs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review production schedule to know what product is running for the shift
• Ensure all supplies necessary are in their designated 5S place and the following is setup (e.g., masters, case off area, tables)
• Check case off belt is running correctly, area is free of debris and sanitary, and the e-stop button is pulled out
• Hand place dinners in cases
• Ensure product coding, packaging, and product labeling are correct and there are no product defects
• Notify forklift operator to remove full pallets
• Keep work area free from debris to maintain a safe clean work area

Skills Required:

• Understand the affects of product damage
• Knowledge of GMP's
• Work at a quick pace
• Use hand/eye coordination
• Work with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 months production or related experience preferred.
