Job Description:

Role: Business Analyst
Location: Cambridge, MA (onsite 5 days)
Summary: Apex Systems is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support to systems analysis and implementation for a new Smart Building facility.
Requirements:
• Requirement Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders. Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT systems and solutions.
• Systems Analysis and Design: Analyze current technology systems to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with IT professionals to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance, or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the QA team to ensure that the end products meet business requirements. Define and execute test scenarios and test scripts.
• Change Management: Support change management initiatives, ensuring that changes to IT systems are smoothly implemented and stakeholder expectations are managed.
• User Training and Support: Provide support and training to users of new systems and for enhancements to existing systems.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to help inform decision-making and produce reports as required by the business. Ensure the integrity and security of business data.
• Communication: Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Communicate complex concepts to non-technical team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they can be implemented into IT systems.
• Technical skills in system design and analysis, familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in documenting requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations is beneficial.
