What You'll Do
- Support the development, execution, administration, modification, and closeout of contracts supporting a wide range of US state and local government clients.
- Draft and execute NDAs, teaming agreements, and other documentation in coordination with BCG Legal and other internal business functions.
- Support proposal development efforts, including solicitation compliance and content reviews, correspondence with government procurement POCs, amendment reviews and distribution, and submissions to the government.
- Coordinate with BCG's finance department in administering contract invoicing and payments, project/job cost management, and contract closeout process.
- Maintain organized, well-documented, audit-ready, and compliant electronic contract files.
- Assist in preparation of data for recurring government reporting requirements (e.g., subcontract reporting) and ad hoc data requests.
- Conduct special projects as assigned, for example, analyzing contract administration procedures and identifying ways to eliminate bottlenecks.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree, or a combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of public sector contracts, especially US state and local government contracts and cooperative agreements, from inception through closeout.
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration, government services, contract law, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of contract and subcontract principles and fundamentals, and US state and local regulations and cooperative agreements is strongly desired.
- Basic understanding of emerging technologies like Generative AI
- Possesses excellent persuasion, negotiation skills, and judgment.
- Displays exceptional management and organizational skills.
- Has working knowledge of financial analytics and profit and loss implications.

Hybrid work policy:At BCG, our people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that in-person work is essential to our culture, mentorship, and professional development. That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
We expect total annualized compensation for Washington D.C. based employees to be approximately the following:
- Base salary between $81,000- $99,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
- First year annualized target total compensation: $91,854- $112,266
