Assembly Mechanic Level 3



As an Assembly Mechanic here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your expertise in mechanical assembly and attention to detail will ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of mechanical components. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our products, contributing to the success of our business.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
* Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
* Test and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure proper functionality
* Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and product specifications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any assembly issues or concerns

YOU MUST HAVE


* Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly
* Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    * Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
    * Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
    * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
    * Strong problem-solving skills
    * Effective communication and teamwork abilities
