Assembly Mechanic - Level 2



As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your expertise in mechanical assembly and attention to detail will ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that all components are properly assembled and meet the required specifications. Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
* Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled products
* Inspect and verify the quality of assembled components
* Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any assembly issues

YOU MUST HAVE


* Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Basic computer skills


WE VALUE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    * Technical certification in mechanical assembly or related field
    * Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
    * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
    * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    * Effective communication and teamwork abilities
