Overview
We are seeking an Assembler II to join our growing PCX team.This assembly position performs a wide variety of module kitting, assembly, and packaging.The employee also works as a team member in whatever capacity and job function is required to deliver a quality product to our customer in a timely fashion.
We are an innovative life sciences company focused on developing and commercializing high-value bioprocessing products, technologies, and solutions critical in the production of biologic drugs.
You will be part of a cross functional team of nine highly motivated and collaborative colleagues. This role will be based in Rancho Dominguez and will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
Responsibilities
The Assembler II will be responsible for:
- Perform manual assembly of PCX, complex fiber, membrane, and polycarbonate components
Responsible for packaging products, assembly of kits, assemble and package product according to the Bill of Materials and Operations Sequence per Work Instructions
- Perform SAP transactions such as Goods Issuances, Goods Receipt and Confirmation movements.
- Ability to read simple schematic and isometric drawings/diagrams and be able to follow the assembly drawings according to job specifications
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications as stated in Lot History Record for the assembly and verification of Sub-Assemblies and or Final Assemblies
- Perform verifications and documentation review of work orders to ensure adherence to Good Documentation Practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 1-2+ years of medical device assembly experience.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment and good understanding of basic computer applications.
Physical Requirements:
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or twist.

The estimated hourly rate range for this role, based in the United States of America is $21-28. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
