Summary 

Information and Technology Services (ITS) is looking for an Application Developer Intermediate to join the Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) Salesforce Center of Excellence (SFCOE) team within ITS. 

You will support and maintain the enterprise-level Salesforce platform, with an emphasis on configuration, Flow, Data Loader, ETL integrations, lightning page layouts, dashboards and reporting. 

This position is a three-year term limited position.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the SFCOE to guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and on the possible effects of new or revised processing analysis 
  • Help integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications 
  • Help develop customer-focused solutions using technical design skills and relationships with internal groups 
  • Develop, test and enforce application standards and procedures, such as deploying changes between environments 
  • Perform Salesforce development tasks such as configuration of custom fields, custom objects, page layouts, formula fields, validation rules, and user permissions 
  • Leverage Salesforce automation tools such as Flow and OmniStudio to fulfill business requirements 
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices and new features 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business computing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience. 
  • Experience applying appropriate technical tools to perform daily administration tasks, root-cause analysis and service restoration. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with the Salesforce platform, data migration and ETL integration tools 
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification 
  • Experience with complex business systems integration and object-oriented design patterns and development 
  • Experience working as part of a team to meet customer expectations.
