  • Location: Larimer County, CO
  • Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week in person

What You’ll Do:

As an Advanced Practice Provider - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, the employee will provide direct professional services in the evaluation and treatment of clients an outpatient environment at a community mental health center. The primary focus of this position will Providing comprehensive care inclusive of mental health, substance use and physical health care needs.

Major responsibilities of this position include:

  • Function as the medical team representative to a multidisciplinary treatment team designed to offer comprehensive behavioral health services.
  • Evaluate patients for substance use and medical disorders, determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patients.
  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Meet and maintain documentation standards and comply with county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to health care.

This position requires knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse communities.

Required

  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), APN, PA from an accredited university.  
  • DEA Certification with Colorado license to practice along with buprenorphine waiver.  
  • Demonstrated commitment and experience working with persons from marginalized communities and other patient populations experiencing vulnerabilities.  
  • Understanding and commitment to Medications for Addiction Treatment and harm reduction principles.

Preferred:

  • Spanish language skills.  Other language skills also beneficial.  
  • At least 2 years' experience treating/servicing persons with substance use and mental health needs.  
  • Strong understanding of substance use treatments and knowledge of withdrawal management processes.

Total Rewards

The typical hiring range for this position is $113,506 to $141,887 annually, based on relevant years of experience.
